Massachusetts Title Insurance
The latest numbers are out from the Massachusetts Association of Realtors and there is actually a ray of sunshine for home buyers and sellers,
according to a recent report in the Amesbury News. Overall, sales in the state are down some 10% and prices are 9% lower than they were last
year, but there was a bump in real estate transactions over the past few months that many are seeing as a sign of good things to come.
"We’re kind of following the state trends," says Valarie McGillvery a broker with Vernon Martin and vice president of the Newburyport Association
of Realtors. "We’ve seen a nice little upswing of activity over the past couple months. I don’t believe in all the doom and gloom," says
McGillvery who expects to see the housing market make slow and steady gains over the next year.
This is great news for the Massachusetts real estate market and for those looking to purchase in the Bay State, as it is one of the few states
